Champion Dragon Boats

CHAMPION dragon boats are made in Dalian , China by Dalian Qian Long Aquatic Sports Development Co Ltd.(DQL)

DQL has been manufacturing dragon boats , rowing boats , canoes and animal shaped paddle boats for years .

In 2005 DQL was the first boat builder in China ( the home of dragon boating) to obtain the IDBF licence to manufacture racing dragon boats to IDBF specifications.

SAVA was awarded the distributorship rights and we were the first in the world to sell IDBF boats made in China . A rare honour.

The boats are certified at the State level for quality assurance and designated as an official racing boat for the Chinese Dragon Boat Association.

SAVA provided the Philippine Sports Commission with CHAMPION IDBF licenced dragon boats for the 23rd SEA Games in the Philippines in December 2005.
